While I would very much like to see darling Roko find someone to caress her with breads (I still have difficulty in imagining how that might work), Jeph doesn't give much screen time to the characters in boring stable relationships these days (e.g. Dale and Marigold), so we might lose her if she did. Of course, she has this job to infinitely and entertainingly frustrate her.

Basically, an employer can fire you without any real good reason, and just label it as "this isn't working out" or the like. And unless you have proof of discrimination, you can't fight it.
