I think the most interesting statement in this whole story arc is Clinton saying he's never dated _anyone_ there in panel 2. Not that it's hard to believe, as Clinton is an amazing dork, but didn't he date Emily at least once?

"Willow Dragonfang" has *got* to have a story behind it. I hope Jeph tells us one day. I wouldn't be surprised if it's an assumed name (or she legally changed it) due to some past family sh*t.... Come to think of it, that might make for some interesting fanfiction.

I know some authors maintain databases with each of their characters in them. That sounds fancy, but usually a directory with a file per character works. I also know some artists make use of the wikis their fans maintain.

Um, Willow was also a 1988 movie. I realize Buffy was a bigger hit, but the name was already on the rise. It was enough of a hit that the name was *not* basically unheard of in 1991.
