Clinton (like many introverted intellectuals) is always confident when it comes to a "problem needing solution." See him asking Brun about how she feels about Elliot, to solve the issue at hand. Unfortunately, that does not translate well to emotional situations, dating, respecting boundaries, etc. So while he has trouble figuring out how to handle Elliot's declaration of love, he has no problem noticing the pattern in Elliots talking, and offering a potential course of action. (Okay, this response is too long, and probably shows that I'm a "Clinton" lol)

Hahaha! Clinton's line in the last panel is basically what my PCP and therapist said after I said I was stressed all the time and took some basic tests.

Some people can handle things in one context, but not in others. Dealing with people on a personal level is very different to dealing with people in a working context where you have a clearly defined boundary and role. Then you have me, who just can't deal with people fullstop.

That moment I described a set of symptoms to a neurologist and he's like "sounds like an anxiety disorder, those aren't my area, you should see someone about it though" and I'm like "oh... yeah, that tracks"

I can be completely non-functional with depression, yet, if someone drags me to the theater for tech, I’ll light the hell out of a show. Different environments activate different parts of our brains/personalities.
