I like how Jeph did that. It's clearly a design feature--the "blush" spots are like Momo's anime-droplet-shooting thing, built in to facilitate interaction with humans. And her expression doesn't change, because it can't--her face is presumably mostly rigid. But she CAN look away.

Heat plates underneath the face plates, between actuators for facial expression..... or something more awesome, since it's future tech we're talking about ^_^

I really like bubbles. But we need to hear why she doesn't shop for a new chassis. Trying out new bodies would seem to be one of the best benefits of being an AI. If she has good reasons for not wanting a different chassis, we should hear them, one way or another. Personally, I just hope she gets more socially comfortable as her physical presence is awesome...
