Thomas Halpin

I wondered what you were up to last night. This comic is great!

Gosh I love beeps

Miyaa

Oh dear. Also, working for a nonprofit group myself, I feel for Winslow that there’s all this paperwork that hasn’t been done, and I’ve got a terrible penmanship.

Dracon Atrox

His face on that last panel! "No wonder Roko forgets she's not the boss."

Joel Bateman

It's funny, cause not too long ago, he was a talking tablet, and now look at him! Our little Winslow is doing good things! I bet Hanners is super proud of him!

Erin Moriarty

She needs an emotional support Hannelore.

Creampuff

Bout to get a lot of hate for this but I find it funny seeing the massive double standard on how it's ok to be incompetent at your job as long as your cute.

Evan

When has that been a double standard here bruh

Czarzhan

"I can't! He's doing all this paperwork." "Not without a pen, I'm not."

Summer Sudbrink

Will the paperwork get done? Will Beeps buy only one pen? Will the printer suffer an untimely accident at the hands of a pint-sized stranger? Stay tuned for these and more thrilling NONPROFIT ADVENTURES!!

Leona

Get that rest Jeph!

Ted Van Roekel

Okay, I have a new ship. Because I cannot see Roko and Winslow, but I CAN see Winslow and Beeps!

Alcaria Swain

I see you've gotten an abs fetish, Jeph and you're determined to pass it around. Well, it's working. Also I second this Beeps and Winslow ship

Shawn K. Younkin

Woot! Now we get TWO QC strips in one day.

Gary Walker

I Christen this vessel the good ship Beslow. May providence guard all who sail in her.

Bagge

I for one am both terrified and intrigued to find out what will happen to delay Beeps on the way to the pen store.

Chris Heg

Highly linear thinker

Now I want to go look up that episode of celebrity jeopardy.

Shaun

I wanna be the very meh-est, the meh-est there ever was. Daily routine is my true test, to help them is my cause.

Matt

starting to think Beeps is pretty lucky to be cute...

Ack

The look in Winslow's eyes in the last panel.

Populuxe

I was starting to jones for my QC fix pretty bad there.

Ronald Burdick

Being logical thinkers.. what's wrong with leaving the papers on his desk, and sending him to the store, for supplies? .. (since they've been waiting already for a while, this won't cause any great problems), or put the papers into a box, so they don't get disturbed, and send him to the store anyhow.. I'm also wondering, how did beeps get her job in the first place, seeing how ill-prepared she is for the work.. just saying..

Mark Thomas

As a volunteer position for a mom-profit organisation, there probably wasn't much in the way pre-screening for the job. And the position itself is probably only open to AI, most of will don't actually "Need" jobs unless they have both decided they want physical bodies AND gotten into the kind of trouble that prevents them from easily making enough money to provide for their own upkeep, so their probably wasn't much of Any competition for the position. And one would think most AI would by design be entirely capable of running the basic logistic work of scheduling employees, maintaining finances, etc in their "background processes" to keep the department operating while they chug away at the speed of electric thought, even as the "bureaucratic BS" record keeping kind of stuff gets put off time and again because she hates doing it...

Joseph Bonnar

I have a new theory about upcoming events in QC. Beepatrice shall develop an almost uncontrollable crush on Winslow, who (as we know) is crushing on Roko. Meanwhile, Pintsize comes to the office to visit Winslow, is mistaken for Arthur, and RUINS Arthur's reputation in said office until Roko recognizes him ad runs him off while the reindeer wanders in and begins licking Winslow, IT'S crush...

Mark Thomas

Also, this is her secondary gig. I believe it was said that working at the Dildo Factory was her primary responsibility

OldGoat

Beeps may not have a nose, but she does a fine job of posing as a mammal.

Beeps have PDA? Man each new character makes me cry tears of joy when they share relatable traits like I avoid scary tasks all the time ahhhh

Anonymous

You’re killing me with the cuteness!!!

Spoogle McGee

So, how long until Beeps is Winslows assistant?

Churchill (formerly TeaBear)

Jeezis, I'm beginning to think things would be much better off if Roko WERE in charge...

Clifton Royston

I think we've seen before in QC that AIs being computer intelligences does not in any way lead to being logical thinkers. Humans are probably logical thinkers if you examine us at the level of single neuron signaling, but put all those neurons together and welp, we're a mess.

Jim Feldman

I worked with a local American Diabetes Association chapter that had a "Beeps" in charge for awhile.

Mark Thomas - From my experience, it's more likely that the AI(s) would by design be capable of "bureaucratic BS" record keeping kind of stuff, and only during their spare time would they work on anything else.

Dean Reilly

I am astonished that no one has pointed out that, intentionally or not, Beeps is copying Roko's style.

Uniquitous

Does it really need pointing out when Beeps already copped to it herself?

BobC

OK. Enough already. Please keep QC in QC-Land, and out of my Real Work Life. I have Dilbert for that, which is quite sufficient. No need to hammer that nail any harder.

Anonymous

Wait a minute, when did Arthur start working there? I thought the little guy was named Nelson...

Clifton Royston

Have not figured out this usage of PDA. The ones I know are PDA for the pre-smartphone device, and "Public Display of Affection." However, I know what you're talking about - it's me and phone calls.

Pathological demand avoidance a profile under the autism spectrum. Many with Pda exhibit a lot of ADHD like symptoms because demand avoidance looks similar to executive functioning issues the difference is rooted in anxiety. Those with Demand Avoidance are anxious over tasks and so avoid them.
