Man, it's been a while! Sorry about that. Turns out moving to Canada is very time consuming! ANYWAY here are some good albums for you to listen to:

Darkstar- Foam Island

Electro-pop in the vein of Junior Boys and Hot Chip, about the slow decay of northern England. Sad but pretty, very very nice listen.

Benjamin Damage- Obsidian

Chunky, thumpy techno that's melodic enough to enjoy at less-than-punishing volumes.

Logan Sama- FabricLive 83

Absolutely relentless set of brutal grime tracks by one of the genre's legends. Amazing stuff!

VA- Kompakt Total 15

A lovely sampler from the venerable german electronic label. Everything from pop to ambient and back again.

Welcome to the Great White North. I just learned from your Twitter feed that you are (or were) looking for banking. The last time I researched it, PC Financial (as part of the grocery store system) has pretty much the best no-fee banking. We started using them over a decade ago and have never regretted it - actually getting a bit of interest on our savings rather than a bunch of monthly fees is well worth it. They don't have branches but have in-store-pavilioins and use CIBC bank machines all over the place. Phone, internet, mobile - all pretty good - http://www.pcfinancial.ca/ I sound like a comercial. They never gave me a hat however. Maybe you'll be luckier. I did get a Canucks hat once for opening an NHL branded MBNA credit card account...
