What, to you, are the biggest differences between a great guitar and a mediocre guitar of the same style?

As a born Canadian (though, i live in BC, out west), I wanted to ask you how you were enjoying the maritimes, and if you would be willing to share what promed your move to Canada (before moving to Canada became cool again 😝)

Good fretwork, a stable neck, and pickups you like are the three most important things, I think. Thankfully those are a lot easier to find these days on affordable guitars than even 5 years ago! And there are some individual instruments you just "gel" with for whatever reason- I've got 2 or 3 guitars out of my collection that just seem to lend themselves to creativity, even though they're not anything "special" compared to the rest of what I've got.
