Still on the subject of Yay (obviously). Is it not weird that they're scared (not that they'd admit it) of being found out as an uber powerful AI when the Director, another uber powerful AI, is just floating out in the open in a tank off the coast of Canada. Not to mention Station. What's in Yay's backstory that makes them so paranoid what there's so much contradictory evidence?

Both of those have a localized consciousness. Moray can be reabsorbed into the Director at her discretion but until then she's an independent agent. Yay is, ostensibly, the only distributed consciousness, because based on current understandings of AI (in universe) should be impossible.
