That was definitely a 10/10 episode. This whole series was a wonderful surprise to me. I didn't think I would really like it... I only like Bridgerton because I see it as fantasy and far removed from any real historical accuracy so I went it and enjoyed it for what it was. I thought I would enjoy this less, as it is British 'history' yet portrayed in an over fictionalised way. yet, here I am, having been entranced by the episodes, no longer caring how much is fantasy and/or how little is based on accuracy because it was so entertaining, so poignant, so beautifully acted and touched on so many aspects whether in historical context or in modern life. It was funny, emotional and thought provoking. The characters and their relationships were well thought out and meaningful, albeit so sad in some cases. I wonder what happened to Reynolds (my maiden name BTW) as it was clear by that sad lone dance they could not be together at the end. The ending of the Queen and King under the bed again where George felt safe was so lovely and watching it again, I still had tears in my eyes. I have enjoyed watching it all again with you.
