This was an amazing episode and the Lucifer writers are not afraid to tackle difficult plot lines and they will again. I found the whole Caleb story so moving and so desperately sad... that scene with Amenadiel laying his necklace around Caleb's neck just broke me. Don't forget that scene or how if affected Amenadiel. There was a lot of laughter in the earlier part of the episode but then the writers having lulled us into a relaxed happy and entertained state twist the knife and break our hearts. I have never known a Show do this as well as as cleverly as Lucifer. Kudos to the scriptwriters. I think you are the first reactor to mention how Dan should be thinking about Trixie a little more and less about his own self destructive, self pitying spiral- I nearly yelled out 'YES, thank you for saying that. Dan needs to pull himself out of it. His daughter deserves better! Hold that thought too. Thank you for a powerful and personal reaction.
