Not sure about Jennifer Carpenter, but MCH was in an HBO series before Dexter called "Six Feet Under" about a family owned funeral parlor and he played a gay mortician. He was amazing. He's done a several movies and the mini series I mentioned last week "Safe" on Netflix, but mostly has stuck to stage work. He starred in David Bowie's "Lazarus" in New York and London and also played Hedwig in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", also both amazing. Of course he reprised his role in "Dexter New Blood (10 episodes) and is currently the lead singer/writer in a small Indy band in New York called "Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum".
