Love that you are reacting to this, it's an amazing show!!! As Tracy said, RTD created and wrote this, so you'll notice a few Doctor Who alumni in this. Not sure if you picked up on it, but the agent that Richie met with at the end is Yvonne Hartman from the first time we met Torchwood in the 2 parter we lost Rose. Also Richie's mom is the owner of the bank in the Peter Capaldi Heist episode. Neil Patrick Harris was a shock cast announcement. No one expected him to be in a British show like this, then he goes an dies at the end of the first episode, what a twist!! RTD is a MASSIVE LGBTQ+ advocate, being gay himself. He's written a plethora of LGBTQ+ TV shows you should definitely explore. One that most American's are familiar with, but don't realize that he created and wrote the original British version of is Queer as Folk. If you haven't seen the UK version of it, I highly recommend it. It's much shorter than the US version, and if memory serves I don't think it's BBC, I'm pretty sure it's Channel 4 who aren't quite as strict with copyright claims. Great reaction Andres, can't wait for the next one.
