I agree. I wasn't the biggest fan of this one when it first aired. Didn't feel like a Christmas special and the superhero comic book stuff had been everywhere in full-swing mainstream entertainment for quite a while by 2016. So it felt a little unimaginative. There had been no DW for a year as well, so this felt a little lacklustre at the time. I've warmed up to it in recent years during the many watch-alongs that I have done. I also agree that the actress playing Lucy isn't the strongest supporting actress that they've had over the years. So that doesn't help. So your score is more than fair I would say, as there is still plenty to enjoy.
