The guy who plays Nick (Kit Connor, who was forced out as Bi) is 18 in real life, and Joe Locke who plays Charlie is 19. They were 17 and 18 filming season 1. I think season 2 was supposed to wrap up filming in December this year, but of course there would still be a lot of editing, adding effects, etc to do, so hoefully season 2 will be anywhere between April and September of next year.
