Took a few days for me to get to this one. Nice to see you smile. I'm hoping 12 will bring you more opportunities to smile and laugh. Again my thoughts are with you my friend. 💛 This is a complex one, so I'm not going to delve into breaking it down. My favourite part is how they brought it back to the events of The Day of the Doctor. As you said Clara is such an integral part in the chain of their incarnations. Leaving that totem of the toy soilder, that is both emblematic for Rupert and The Doctor. Inspiring both to be soliders. But an unarmed one. This has significance for The Doctor and Danny. I like that. The speech about fear is moving as well. This one is a multiple rewatch episode for perhaps a full appreciation. It certainly was for me.
