I don't think this one is regarded as a favourite among this series or in general. I think it's a lot of fun though and keeping with the spirit of the show. So I'm glad that you enjoyed it. But even I'd have to admit, if I was forced to drop an episode or two upon a rewatch of series 8. Then this would probably be among them, if necessary. But that should only speak to how strong the vast majority of this series is and not totally as a reflection of the quality of this one episode alone. I'm not surprised to hear that people have told you that Danny Pink isn't a favourite for them. I'm tired of hearing that tbh. (I don't mean from you obviously!) I actually think he is probably one of the most underestimated, misunderstood and misrepresented characters from the show, within the fan base. (From my own perspective.) Knowing you, you'll give him a fair shake anyways. Clara gets her fair share of dislike as well. (Similar to Rose I think.) Tributed reasons seem bizarre and really unfair by my book, by means of character and story analysis. Some have attributed this 'hate' if we are use that term as loosely as possible. (Cuz I think it's a quite unnecessary term that gets banned around. Even if we are only talking about fictional characters.) 🤣 But some have blanketly concluded it's in part because Jenna is such an attractive actress. Kinda stupid conclusion honestly, but that comes from people who love her character, trying to understand why people don't. When their reasonings actually don't seem to make a whole lot of sense. Still, I'm glad that you like her character. Ya know... It's interesting that you can distinguish 'your Doctor' from your favourite Doctor. I actually don't think I can recall ever seeing anyone do that before. Obvs nothing wrong with that. I think I can actually relate to your reasonings here. My Doctor by this reasoning is probably then going to be 11. This was when I went from loving the show to adoring it. Matt's portrayal and beautifully heart wrenching exit did that for me. But like you atm, 12 is my favourite Doctor. This guy was born to play The Doctor and understands the role. The character development in his portrayal is something that many of us are really looking forward to you seeing.

I'm so happy you're enjoying the 12th Doctor! This Robin Hood episode is one of my favourites from this season. The plot isn't too special but I love the humor ("If you were real you'd be dead in six months!" - "I am real!" is hysterical every time), Robin Hood and the thing with the Doctor not knowing if he's real or not. And the ending about stories and history is touching.
