The image of the fat dads at the buffet has definitely been one of the longest to create of any of the gainer story images. Though I tend to keep background details minimal because I always want the big men to be the stars of the show, the buffet image still demanded a lot of my time because of the dads themselves - just getting them to look right. I've also included Henry and Hudson's sketches here too; for Henry I felt I'd captured his look almost straight away - the pensive expression built into his features. The other fat dads took a bit longer to get right in the sketching, character design phase.

Really wonderful sketches this time, Lokitu! Henry’s sadness breaks my heart, even as his bared torso tickles my fancy, and (having read the chapter) the look on Hudson’s face is clearly not as affectionate as his body language. The group shot is excellent - the bellies of the three in the forefront are noticeably larger than before, and I like the way Gus is relegated to the distance as Boony approaches the others. Again, the expressions are varied and entirely appropriate in all cases. Bravo, sir! 💕

Thank you very much! The placement of each character in the ensemble scenes is quite deliberate, and takes a little bit of jiggery pokery to calibrate.
