The Dad: Color (Patreon)

As you can see, he very nearly had a beer in his other hand, but then as soon as I tried out the hand on his sizable hip instead, it just felt more Dad-like and balanced the picture better. I'm finding that sometimes these images can look a bit too contrived if the character is doing too many different things at once.  Some of the images I'm happy to make look more posed and pin-up-like, and then others I like to try and capture a feeling that we've caught the big man doing their thing in the moment.
