By this point my biceps had really started to develop, as well as my chest. I was lifting heavier now, and had long passed being a noob in the gym, which gave me more confidence. Honestly, going to the gym, training, sticking with it and seeing results is such a great way to build confidence - and I wasn't even that shy to begin with! To anyone who feels intimidated by the idea of going to a gym I would say - push yourself into it anyway. It's not intimidating in reality. Everyone is there to achieve their own goals, and is (mostly) respectful and usually pretty supportive of seeing newbies come along and start up. 

I was also pretty happy with how my traps and chest were looking by this point. Back then, I felt like I was starting to show just a little bit of extra chunk too (which is laughable now), but this part basically marks the end of me having any kind of flat stomach. It's all outwards from this point on!
