So shockingly I just learned how to braid my hair! I never knew it was so easy to do.

Last month I started a full on hair growth and care routine!

There’s always room for improvement when it comes to your body and health. ☺️

I love my hair , so makes sense I want to take better care of it. In fact I love my hair so much that I just let it air dry and never really style it with any heat. Heat = damage

BUT there’s so much more I should be doing to get the most beautiful hair!

Things I’ve started doing for thicker , longer , no frizz and shiny hair.

- Hair oils like rosemary , castor and argan oil for growth and strength.

- Hair serums to make my hair shiny , stronger and combat frizzy hair.

- Only sleep on silk pillow cases and most nights wear a silk cap / bonnet so my hair looks amazing , no knots , no frizz , etc in the mornings.

- Only brush it 2 times a day or less. The less the better since it causes breakage and hair fall out. Only brush it if it’s down obviously.

- Since starting this routine it’s rarely ever down. Usually in a single braid or pig tail braids.

- Use a wooden brush or any good quality brush because that apparently matters more than I ever thought.

- Keep my hair in a braid because it’s a protective hairstyle. When I take it out it gives me natural waves without using any heat. (BONUS) I’ll show you how it looks down one day soon! It’s very pretty!

- Microfiber towels ONLY to dry my hair. I am guilty of rubbing my hair vigorously with a normal towel to dry it. That causes breakage sadly.

—— Happy to say that wasn’t good and no more of that!! 😁

- Good quality shampoo and conditioner with no sulfates and parabens.

- Clarifying shampoo and deep conditioning mask every 2 weeks.

So wish me luck! It’s already looking way better , feeling smooth and smells so nice and clean with the Moroccan shampoo and conditioner I use. I rotate shampoo and conditioner every few months just to try new things.

Anyways I’m very happy with results and will definitely keep incorporating all of the above because my hair loves it.

Just wanted to share!
