Shortly after sunrise in certain locations, the moon can be seen briefly covering the moon. In the UK, it will begin at 8:37 BT (give or take, depending on your location) and last for a little over an hour. The sun will be up, so take great care to not point a telescope or binoculars at the night sky. When I do this sort of thing, I leave my cap on and only remove it when I'm sure it is not pointed at the sun. It is helpful to do this sort of thing in the shade, protected by a fence or building while the moon/Venus is still visible. 

I'll be missing this due to the Earth being in the way, so if you get a picture tag me so I can share it!

Bummer!!!! A pain I know all too well. Sometimes you get lucky though, like when the clouds broke during the Mars Occult a few months back for me.
