In ancient times, Castle Valeria breathed life under the benevolent rule of a modest king who could never have offspring. After the departure of its inhabitants due to the monarch's death and the decline of the kingdom, the castle fell into abandonment. Over the centuries, its fate changed hands until a strange traveler, hungry for power, chose it as the perfect setting to forge his dark cult.

Castle Valeria, now known as the Umbral Dungeon, has been transformed into a sinister asylum where those seeking to learn dark arts find refuge. The once majestic architecture of the castle now stands dilapidated, a result of decay and the influence of the cult. Inside, several pools filled with blood emit a rancid odor that permeates the air, while a gigantic cursed skull with red and glowing eyes ominously presides over the place.

The cult's chambers are adorned with dark and ancient symbols, where forbidden practices are taught, and black magic is fostered. Rumors suggest that many missing individuals were recruited by this cult, feeding the dark legend of Castle Valeria.

In the depths of the dungeon, several cages hold prisoners who are used in dark rituals or for atrocious experiments and sacrifices.
