hello guys, this is the first map I made: Sacrifice Room, and since this was a free map, the rewards in the new tier for this map are also free

so for the alternate version of this map, I decided to change the color palette a bit, so it seems like something magical is happening

Behind The Map

in this sketch I wanted to capture mainly 2 ideas, the pentagram on the floor, and the coffin guarded by 2 statues so I focused on that and adding some extra details

the idea was to focus attention on not so many points for the coffin to take center stage

I started drawing the walls and the floor, I must know that I love to dump these 2 things because in spite of being simple and sometimes not so important, they give you the sensation of the place where you are

finally done the lineart.

I like that the lineart alone tells the map, without the help of color, so those little details are the ones I like to cover

The flat colors

for the palette of this map I decided to go for the cold blue, to make an atmosphere where everything happens slower, I feel that the cold gives that sensation of slowness and silence

once the shadows and lights are added, the map looks like this

the truth this is my favorite part, see how everything comes together to get to this

This is fantastic! The two versions are perfect to layer over each other and swap between in roll20
