The context of why Tsubasa does weirder things than normal is because anger and jealousy for several years (because Ukyou prefers Ranma) have affected Tsubasa's mental stability, aggravated this since he has the ring in his possession (since then he hears the ring speak asking to be used), for that reason a bizarre situation to humiliate Ranma like staging a wedding without guests just to put the ring that will turn Ranma into a sex doll (instead of just putting the ring on)
