Soma and Jenny are two 18-year-old friends who wander around in the center of their city after Soma got out of school. Although Soma and Jenny do not go to the same school, they have known each other since childhood because they are neighbors, and they often go out for walks around the city and explore different places. On the other hand, even though they have known each other since school, they tend to be two different people. On the one hand, Jenny is someone serious, distant, intimidating and with little care in her appearance, to the point of being someone brusque and manly (even if she is a woman). On the other side, Soma is a cute girl obsessed with magical girls, especially because of how popular they have become in recent years, since with the advances in a discipline founded a few years ago called "magical science", some security companies have decided to create super heroines with the theme of magical girls for some years, to the point of competing with each other to position their magical girls as more popular than the magical girls of other companies or even to the point of making deals with different cities in which that city stipulated that there would only be magical girls from a specific company, monopolizing the fight against crime with magical girls in that city. In addition, companies take advantage of the popularity of the most prominent magical girls to make series and merchandise, to the point that the most popular magical girls become a kind of idols in front of the public opinion which causes furor and obsession in people towards magical girls, and Soma is one of those people with that excessive obsession for magical girls.
For Soma the magical girls are an object of admiration, heroism and purity, they represent all that is good in the world with their neat and innocent appearance while they fight crime selflessly, a very dangerous type of criminals by the way since crime has also found a way to dominate magical science and to pose a danger to public and social order, a type of danger that only magical girls can fight. All that mixture of facts, factors and emotions that flow uncontrollably inside Soma detonate in her obsession for magical girls and she, deep in her soul, would like to be one, even though Soma does not know the procedure by which a magical girl becomes a magical girl. Soma has never seen those magical girl companies hire girls, even though she knows that magical girls' powers are not from birth but are granted by the company through a magical pact. Do you have to wait for the company to contact the person? Or perhaps the person is the one who must contact the company, although there does not seem to be any means of contact available....
Oddly enough, it seems to be Soma's lucky day, as he found a first clue while strolling through the city as he moved away from the center and walked through a little-traveled neighborhood adjacent to the city center along with Jenny. It appeared to be a sign taped to a door of a small, modest office behind the glass of the door, and said sign read:
"Do you want to be a magical girl? Don't wait any longer! You don't need powers! Don't waste your time and get in here!"
Soma, deluded by her infinite admiration for magical girls, could not resist. If she had the opportunity to become a magical girl, no matter how suspicious the situation seemed, she was not going to waste it, besides Soma does not know what she will do in her future and she is too lazy and lazy to go to college. On the other hand, Jenny doesn't feel confident enough to enter that modest office in a place.
with little traffic, even though Jenny couldn't resist Soma's insistence to enter, and even Soma dissuaded Jenny with her optimism, convincing her to participate in that kind of recruitment, even though she doesn't want to be a magical girl, just for fun, and in case they decided to accept her as a magical girl, she could simply refuse the offer. Even though Jenny still found the situation somewhat strange and suspicious, she couldn't help but be convinced and cloyed by Soma's optimism, especially since Jenny was happy when she saw Soma overflowing with so much light and joy. Then they both cross the glass door to enter that small and modest office.
[Drawing 1]
Inside the office there seemed to be a lot of magical girl merchandise, such as posters, collectibles, figurines, pins, backpacks, etc. There were all sorts of things in the place and the place looked more like a merchandise store than a magical girl agency. However, behind another door in front of the counter comes out an enigmatic pale woman with long brown hair and huge dilated red eyes, with a look so deep that looking into her eyes seems like looking into infinity or death itself, even though she seemed a little more harmless when noticing her adorable way of dressing.
Said woman seems overjoyed that someone has finally entered her business and asks effusively if they come to be magical girls, to which Soma replies in the affirmative, also excited, while Jenny put her hand to her forehead, wondering if this place was the right place for her, along with two very expressive and emotional crazy women. However, before Jenny decided to leave, that woman takes them both by the hand and hurriedly leads them to the dressing rooms.
[Drawing 2]
After a few minutes, and with Soma's help to choose the best outfit for Jenny, as she was undecided since none of the available options seemed to please her at all, Soma spent so much time in the dressing room with Jenny, trying on her all kinds of dresses, that Jenny felt like Jenny's dress doll, something she could not dislike. Soma spent so much time in the dressing room with Jenny, trying on her all kinds of dresses, that Jenny felt like Soma's dress up doll in a way, something she couldn't dislike at all, as she enjoyed very much Soma's joy while dressing and undressing her in different magical girl costumes over and over again, even if she didn't like those dresses, if it made Soma happy, Jenny was happy with it.
Finally, they both come out of the dressing rooms, showing off their beautiful magical girl uniforms. On the one hand, Soma had a beautiful pink uniform with ruffles on the sides and white ruffles around the edges and pink high heeled slippers with tight pink ribbons wrapped around her legs, so much so that she looked like a freshly wrapped Christmas present herself, with ribbons, bows and bows all over the place. In addition, along with the outfit, she was accompanied by a long white ivory cane with a crescent moon lying on it and a huge orb with a star in its center.
On the other hand, Jenny was embarrassed and blushing as she saw herself in the mirror looking at her new outfit as a magical girl, a vast and fluffy red skirt with white ruffles, with a white shirt and red high heeled sneakers that made her look sexy, plus a big white bow on her head and a magic wand with a star on its tip that she held in her hand.
That other girl with brown hair and red eyes, who seemed to be overseeing that small business, was fascinated with the change of look of both, especially with Jenny's, accepting effusively the girls as magical girls and telling them that she would prepare them from now on, but not before making them sign a contract, a contract that the girls did not read in detail before signing.
[Drawing 3]
During the following weeks, taking advantage of the fact that the vacations began shortly after their arrival at that strange office, the girls were trained to be magical girls every day, even though the magical girl training did not seem so much like a training focused on defeating magical villains, but rather on the behavior of a magical girl, for that brown-haired woman, who in the following days they would discover her name was Miruna, told them that she would not give them training in magic until they managed to behave fully like real magical girls. During those weeks Miruna was constantly training them, subjecting them to subtle suggestion and re-education to reduce their personalities to those of a flat, sweet, innocent and goofy magical girl, just as if they were magical girls from some anime. That wasn't so hard to apply to Soma, even though Jenny, who was only there to make Soma happy, suffered more from that process. At some point over the weeks Jenny got fed up and asked Miruna about when they would start real training, and when they would start fighting villains, to which Miruna repeated what she has always said about it, that they won't start real training until they master the basics of being a magical girl, like behaving like a real magical girl. In addition, Miruna has taken advantage of their training to take pictures of both of them posing and filming them during their training to make them famous on the internet and, if they are already famous before using magic, she considers that it will be much easier to sell them as a product, yes, as defenders of some city, once they have finished the training.
Certainly, without the knowledge of Soma and Jenny, since they do not use the internet much, Miruna has already made them both famous and has started to sell merchandise even without their express knowledge, using the contract she forced them to sign since this contract authorized Miruna to sell merchandise from them (or even to themselves if necessary...) as needed.
This caused nothing but a lot of discomfort for Jenny, but Miruna took the opportunity. Miruna and Jenny were alone in the office, since Soma has done so well in training that only an hour or two a day to consolidate her training daily while Jenny has to go daily for almost the whole day. Then Miruna offered Jenny a deal: she would help her to behave like a magical girl without effort, by means of a method that consisted of sitting in a chair while watching a powerful video of suggestion and hypnosis on the screen. Jenny, in order to end this hell as soon as possible, accepted without even measuring the consequences of her decisions. Then, before Jenny knew it, she was strapped to a chair while being brainwashed into being a magical girl while her mind dissolved into an infinite pastel pink abyss.
The next day, when Soma arrives at the office, she finds that Jenny has already arrived early, and is just there smiling and acting cute, something abnormal for Jenny, which makes Soma worry. However, before she can do more, Miruna congratulates them as they are ready to be magical girls and gives them their magical tools: a cell phone in the shape of a magic wand. When they need to transform and get magical power, they just need to click the power button on the cell phone. Soma, somewhat confused, asks Miruna about what kind of power that magic cell phone will give them, to which Miruna replies that there's nothing like learning by practicing and asks them to go on their first magic training mission, which, according to Miruna, is just a simulation and they won't have them to really worry about. However, since it is a test, they will each go on different missions in different locations and at different times, Jenny's mission being an hour earlier (at 8 AM, while Soma's would be at 9 AM) tomorrow, and she recommends that they both go to rest to prepare for the test and their first mission. Soma, somewhat puzzled by Jenny's behavior, accepts, believing that Jenny is probably really very tired and tomorrow after passing the test they will surely both feel much better.
[Drawing 4]
The next day Soma got up early, and left half an hour before his first mission, as Soma wanted to see how Jenny passed her mission which was an hour earlier. Fortunately, Soma heard the place where Jenny had to go, an alley on the outskirts of the city to supposedly catch a powerful dark wizard who stalked helpless girls and made them disappear. Soma was not worried about the mission since it was supposed to be a simulation, but he was worried about Jenny's strange attitude, since just a day before the end of the course, she was as whiny and rebellious as always, but yesterday, when they finished the course, Jenny seemed passive, cute and delicate, as if she had been lobotomized in some way...
However, she got a big surprise when, when she arrived at the alley, there was no one there, only Jenny's clothes lying on the ground and... a doll just like Jenny on top of the clothes? Was that doll Jenny? Soma wondered to herself, getting more and more worried, for wasn't the test supposed to be just a simulation, or was it some joke of Jenny's? And that's how Soma, distracted thinking while holding Jenny, or the doll just like her, in her trembling hands, is interrupted in her thoughts when she hears the footsteps of someone behind her.
[Drawing 5]
Then, before Soma could even react, something shoots a lightning bolt at her back, and Soma falls to the ground with a blank mind, her body shrunken and stiff and her skin shiny like resin. Soon after that, Miruna picks up both dolls with her hands, who is dressed as a magical girl, or so it seems, although in darker tones, perhaps looking more like a villain. Since the world is now too big and hostile for two helpless little magical girls turned into toys, Miruna thinks she has a better place for them.
[Drawing 6]
Once back in the office, which is nothing more than Miruna's home, hideout and store, she begins to delicately dress, style and make-up her two new dolls. It is then while Miruna appreciates and pampers her new dolls, when she ponders what she should do with them, whether to add them to her personal collection or put them for sale as a marketer of their own, since they are very popular on the internet, as she had originally planned in her unsavory and obsessive fantasy.
[Drawing 7]
Over time, with the disappearance of Soma and Jenny, their parents thought that when they debuted as magical girls, they decided to move, while for the authorities, the two of them were still alive and existing because they continued to publish photos of them on the internet and even both had begun to generate content on the internet after their disappearance, as music and videos, becoming more popular as idols of magical girls even if they did not fight crime, while Miruna generates a fortune supplanting the existence of both girls generating those contents, through artificial intelligences that gave them life in simulations or simulated the voice of the missing girls. Meanwhile Soma and Jenny wait for eternity as dolls on one of the shelves of Miruna's store, drowning in the infinite pleasure of being dolls, waiting to be bought, while the few customers who come to the store watch them. How many more aspiring magical girls have suffered the same fate? Thinks the omnipresent narrator as another girl enters Miruna's store asking for reports on the sign to be a magical girl that is on the door.
