Loaine just turned 18 a few months ago and is interested in joining the army. Although her country, the Democratic Republic of Angeriask, has not been at war for many years, there is always a constant feeling of pressure for Angeriask to be surrounded by aggressive and unwelcome neighbors with whom they have not had wars in 50 years, because all countries fear that going to war against a country may cause other countries to take advantage of the situation and invade them in a disadvantageous situation, and since the last great war there has been a tense peace. However, because of the constant fear that all countries, including Angeriask, have of another conflict exploding and being dragged into war, all countries invest a lot of money in maintaining large and numerous armies, as in the case of Angeriask, which maintains practically 50% of its population as part of its active army and is therefore a densely militarized country, where millions of its currency is spent to maintain such a large army and, even with that, the army is always in a permanent campaign to recruit new members, especially since they cannot make compulsory levies since they have not been at war for several years.

Despite the strangeness of the situation inside Angeriask, Loaine is very interested in joining the army, and specifically in a program she finds interesting that deals with the creation of super-soldiers based on bionic and mechanical improvements, which for Loaine, she thinks, will be the best opportunity to be a kind of super-heroine, since she is inspired by the comics and manga about super-heroines and warriors that she has read before. On the other hand, Loaine has thought that maybe the training to be a super-solider would  be very dangerous, even though she prefers not to think about that and trust in the capabilities and technology of her country, which is one of the countries with the highest technological development. There are also other incentives for her to join the military, such as protecting her family and securing her future, as being in the military gives her family economic and status advantages.

Then, two weeks later, Loaine finally made the decision to join the army. So, she has put in her papers and has become a candidate for this super-soldier creation experiment, she is summoned one morning to a rendezvous point where she boards an army bus. It leaves the city with her and other candidates to take them to a secret army base in the middle of the countryside and any unauthorized observers. It looks like it will be a journey of several hours, so Loaine has plenty of time to ponder her future.

According to some rumors, there might be a war very soon, so Loaine is impatient to be trained and prepared to be a super heroine as soon as possible in order to stand out in that war and have the attention of the whole country on her and how she saves the country from any threat. Loaine can't help but feel some megalomaniac impulses at the thought of all the attention she will get, maybe they will even make some anime about her and sell action figures of her in every toy store in the country. For Loaine the future looks bright, though maybe she doesn't think enough about the side effects or what will happen if the training goes wrong and she gets kicked out of the army or ends up with some chronic lifelong problem, or even if she dies, but Loaine tries not to think about that and concentrates on thinking only about the goofy, positive side of being a super-soldier, like being a heroine. Besides, at least she is there voluntarily, which makes the side effects or the possibility of failure more acceptable to her.

As the bus got closer and closer to the military base, Loaine began to concentrate less and less on her thoughts and to take more and more attention of the facilities and the place around her. Loaine mistakenly thought she was going somewhere dreary and gray, something like a bunker, but she finds that this military base and secret laboratories are a huge facility full of light and the most advanced technology on the planet, on an island that is in the middle of a lake and only connected by a bridge, something like a military city-state with the best technology and living conditions, reserved only for the elites of the country.

Later, after being introduced to the leader of the secret project, Dr. Kapanadze, and after he performed the necessary medical tests on them before starting the enhancement and assembly process, the candidates for the secret super-soldier project are directed to a floor in the subway where they lie on an assembly line, From this point on Loaine can't help but hide her nervousness, but before she could change her mind, a mechanism is activated and attaches her torso to the assembly line, which starts to move towards a dark place....

[Drawing 2]

In the first phase of the assembly process, they were administered some drugs and nutrients that will serve to make their bodies, in a way, more resistant, although it will give them a strange shine and partial rigidity to their bodies, although for now they can still move, or at least they could if they were not attached to the assembly line. At the same time, a warm laser light disintegrates the clothes they were wearing, leaving them completely naked. Loaine, surprised by the automation of the process, can't help but feel ashamed to feel naked, but as she tries to cover her private parts with her hands, just before a shackle closes on her legs and hands, leaving her completely immobile. Meanwhile the first part of the armor begins to be assembled, the one oriented to protect the most intimate parts. In a matter of a short time, her whole body was already completely covered with the armor and the weapons installed in different parts of the armor

After that, huge robotic arms approach and detach them from the conveyor line, resulting in a metal plate between them and the conveyor lines from which the shackles were activated. They are then suspended several meters away while hands attach a cable to a connector on the helmet of each of the candidates, including Loaine. Then quickly Loaine's mind goes completely blank, being now a machine ready to follow instructions, even though no instructions were given, not even basic instructions. Meanwhile Loaine sees off into infinity while drooling after the mental reboot, it is not as if his mind has been erased, but rather, as if his mind has been turned off.

Finally, they reach the last stage of the process, where a huge quantum beam is aimed at them. Suddenly a light illuminates a large part of the area into the distance, and, at first glance, it seems as if the candidates have disappeared... But if you pay attention, they are now hanging in the air held by a robotic arm. Have they been shrunk? Surely Loaine would think about what the reason for would be for shrinking a super-soldier since that would totally deprive her of any usefulness, though it's not as if Loaine could think much at this very moment really. Finally, Loaine is packed up and taken to some store for sale, as if she had been... turned into an action figure to be sold?

[Drawing 5]

After several months, Loaine's family has received the "missing in action" letter, while in a neighboring country allied to Angeriask, called Polendia, a collector boy arranges the pose of his new acquisition that rests on the shelf of his room, an action figure with an armor from the neighboring country, just the one he was missing to complete his collection.
