The story of Balaam usually starts with Numbers 22, and is usually a story about how God has blessed the Israelites and refuses to curse them. I, on the other hand, will begin the story with Numbers 21, wherein God curses the Israelites with venomous snakes, killing many of them for merely complaining about being thirsty and hungry.
