The Omission of Genesis 38 (Patreon)

I own a lot of books about the bible, from illustrated youth bibles, to advanced apologetics, which help me understand different interpretations and explanations, so that I can see if my contentions have already been answered, and if I can refute those answers. When checking my youth bibles, I noticed that they both go from Genesis 37 to Genesis 39, as if 38 doesn't exist. These bibles are often hilariously dismissive of atrocities, but not even they could figure out how to illustrate Genesis 38. Guess what... I can.
