MNL Progress Report #29 (Patreon)

While you listen to that, let me fill you in on a progress report. We've mostly been keeping our noses to the grindstone. Vanware has finished even more music tracks, Bear has finished up some trees and vehicles to give Culo Culo Town a bit more life to it, Leslie finished another character sheet that I don't want to reveal quiiite yeeettt, and we even got some really good bonus animations from AT to really liven up some cutscenes.

That said though, we ran into a programming issue trying to return to gameplay after cutscenes that we're still trying to figure out. It's thrown off our schedule a bit trying to work through this, and I'm not sure if we'll make that end of April soft deadline. We still have a good bit left to build still, so we'll just have to see how quickly we can figure this out and get this thing out. I'll let you know what our progress is looking like next week, of course.

I'm also currently in talks to bring on another dedicated 2D artist to help create environment assets, character designs, and bonus art for you all! We've also got plans to bring on another programmer once this demo is out and we have time to teach someone the ins and outs of our set-up here. Gotta plan for the demo AND BEYOND.

Update: The issue was fixed shortly after getting out this blog post because Invertex is a GOD. We're back on track and moving along!
