MNL Brief Demo Delay Announcement (Patreon)

Hey there, nudies! I have some really cool shit to show today, but I want to make this its own separate post so I can give a bit more detail about where we're at.

As the headline states, we will be delaying the demo release. While initially scheduled for end of March, we'll be delaying its release to end of April. This was a personal decision made by myself. To be completely transparent, we're actually very close to having a functional, playable demo. Invertex is confident that this can be finished at the end of March, and I fully believe him. However, I think it would be wise to give ourselves an extra month to be able to better test the game and catch any issues before the demo's release. Furthermore, I'd also like to use the time to polish up the game even further. Voice clips are something the game doesn't have yet, and we'll be using the extra time to hire voice actresses to bring these characters to life. (Note: The game won't be fully voiced. It will instead have accompanying sound bites to give a sense of how these characters sound.)

I'm deeply sorry to announce this delay so close to its initial release. I know a lot of you are excited and looking forward to finally playing this demo and seeing more of Amber and Culo Culo Town. I can assure you, this extra time will only be spent enhancing the demo experience. We want to make sure it leaves a good, lasting impression of what kind of game My Naked Li(f)e will be when the full game is released in the future. I think it will be more than worth the wait.

I'm not here empty-handed today though, oh no. As I said, we have something really cool to show. Stay tuned for a post right after this one showcasing a full song from the official My Naked Li(f)e soundtrack with a full accompanying visualizer video! At this stage of development, we're going to have a lot of stuff to show over the next few weeks up to the demo's new release date. Please look forward to it!
