My dog just turned one. He was neutered at 9 months. He is potty trained. Retrieves, sits, downs rolls over shakes right and left handed. I take him with me every where. My MD told me I needed a PTSD support dog. His predecessor died last year he is suppose to be my replacement. The problem is he is afraid of EVERYTHING. The wind, load noises strange people etc. likes other dogs and plays well. He is about 38 pounds and the size of a BC but is a shelty. Is there any thing I can do or anywhere I can send him to get over these phobias.

Layla used to have constant tension on the leash like Bentley, except she's 60lbs of muscle. One trick I've used to improve Layla's leash walking is late at night, fewer animals, people, and sounds. I'd have to say the key for us was learning what her distraction limits are. Before these videos it never occurred to me that my leash training actually needed to start inside the house, once I started there Layla's leash walking improved immensely and we really made it over the plateau I'd created by going to far too fast. Thx for the great vids :)
