Zak, so I've been working with my new pup on walking properly on a leash, especially to stop pulling and biting the leash. I've been generally using treats as a distraction. But the problem now is that she is stopping on her own all the time during a walk. The thing is, she still comes when called, but the reason she stops is because she is expecting a treat when she is called. And when I don't give her one, she just stops again. I'm hesitant to use a toy as a distraction because it gets her all rowdy and she starts biting the leash and the other dog again. Any advice?
