Hey zak my name is marquis Thurman and I am in the military and was stationed overseas for about two years and and it was fun and cool. my wife Krystal and I have a beautiful Australian Shepard blue heeler mix named Stella and we want to make her my emotional support dog . I because about a year ago I had a really tough time and had a suicide attempt which forced the doctors to send me to California which is where my wife and I got Stella. She’s Alitalia over a year old but we’re moving to Texas soon and our fear is that a lot of places won’t accept her because she is bigger in size. So that’s why we want to make her an emotional support dog because we don’t know what we’d do without her making us smile everyday. The only problem is we think she’s to energized to do the courses she needs to become an emotional support animal please help us. Please email us at marquisthurman@hotmail.com we need your help

An ESA does not need to be specially trained to do anything specific and there are no courses required. Only service dogs need to be trained to specifically help with some aspect of your disability. You just need an ESA letter from a licensed medical professional who talks to you and makes a determination on whether an ESA would be correct for your situation. Once the letter is secured, you will be within your right to have your dog in your home with you, and you will likely be able to take them on planes and stuff. Be wary of websites that say they will get you an ESA letter quickly for $$. I found a licensed doctor on Yelp who specialized in a few areas, one of which was ESA letters. I got my letter and adopted a dog the next week.
