Dogs aren’t born knowing how to be good or how we want them to behave, so we have to teach them. There’s a disconnect between a person and their dog as they build communication, and for that reason there are some things we need to do in order to save our house and our sanity! In this week’s video, I’ll show you something that will help you get your dog trained faster and with much less inconvenience!

Hi Zach! Wondering how to avoid excerbating separation anxiety by always having our three-month Alaskan Klee Kai on a leash at our side. To give her all the love and training we want to, we've done as you suggested by controlling her environment and keeping her at our side for most of the day. It's becoming quite apparent though that she now has a hard time being alone. She rarely naps, or very brief times, because she's constantly looking around for us. Separation anxiety is so common with the AKK. In our case, still think it’s best to keep her on a leash at our side for these first months? I really don't want to stick her in the crate more than need to, but don't want to set her up for emotional distress either.
