A small batch of Images - Part 5 (Patreon)

I promised some AI generated character portraits, but damn, I didn't expect that it would be such a pain in the neck.

In short, the problem is that, since the algoritm of NovelAI is trained on Gelbooru images, it has a strong predilection towards certain themes. I have already complained about this when posting the previous batches, mainly in terms of actively having to wrestle with the image generator to keep it from giving everyone huge boobs, and that, since Gelbooru focuses way more on female characters, generating male characters from it is a repetitive chore.

Now, add in the fact that most of the characters in this arc wear very distinct outfits, especially togas. Oh, and guess what happens when I write in "toga" to the prompt field? Do I get a character wearing an ancient greco-roman outfit? Nah. I get Himiko Toga from My Hero Academia instead.

As for laurel crowns? Hah! It gave me everything from them wearing leaves around their necks to big-ass holy-roman-crown style stuff, and pretty much nothing in-between.

So yeah, generating these was an uphill battle, but after using up about 2k generation currency, I decided to throw in the towel. Here's what I managed to do with that.

Here's Director Savir. Her outfit isn't exactly an overdesigned toga, but I think I have already explained why that's the case.

Here's a slightly different version of the same image, with about 20% more toga and 100% more mangled hands.

Finally, here's a version of her when she was meeting with Leo in her room for the first time.

Here's Tsephanyah.

And here's a different version of him in a more anime-ish style.

To round out the three head directors, here's Mensah. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the AI to generate his fancy ear-piece without it completely mangling up his ear.

And once again, a more anime version as well.

Now comes the really silly part. You know how I said that, due to the image set the AI was trained on, it had certain tendencies? I tried my hand at generating some illustrations for the praetorian guard. Unfortunately, the base prompt of "hoplite" and "greek breastplate", got me this result...

So yeah, I gave up on this pretty quickly. I'm afraid you guys have to rely on your imagination for those guys.

However, since she's going to be playing a bigger role in the future, I figured I should generate some images for Tajana. This one is her in her usual gothic lolita outfit.

While this is her in her couch-potato mode.

That's all I've got this time. I might try to look into generating some tolerable images for uniformed Jaakobah, Kane, and at least Armour Guy, but right now, I'm a bit burned out.
