Hello, Dear Readers.

Just a quick update for you: Last week I was on vacation in the mountains, so I didn't really write anything while I was there. Unfortunately, the day after I returned home, our county was hit by the worst torrential rainstorm in seventy years. It caused the local river to flood, which caused a dam to burst, which then took out the local water plant, so we didn't have tapwater for five days. On top of that, the rain also caused multiple lanslides, one of which also took out a high-voltage transmission tower, so while it was getting fixed, our electricity and internet was incredibly unstable all week. Oh, and this was also right in the middle of a heat-wave, with temperatures as high as 36 degrees Celsius.

In other words, this whole week was a mess, and I couldn't get any writing done, meaning I only have about 3k words to show for the past two weeks. Things have finally normalized a little, so I plan to try and catch up by spending the whole weekend with nothing but typing like a madman. Hopefully, I will have a whole chapter, not just parts, to show by Sunday at the latest. Until then I ask for your understanding.

Tell me about it. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I, of course, had to go to work on last Saturday during the storm, and I had to walk about half a kilometer in ankle-deep water, because the ditches by the road couldn't handle the downpour. It was absolutely lovely. /s

Dammit! If you were truly dedicated you would be writhing it using your own blood on toilet paper! Lol JKin. Sorry to hear about your struggle. Hope you it gets better soon!

I would like to say it is already getting better with actually having electricity and all, but then I remember that I just went to the toilet half an hour ago, and when I wanted to flush I couldn't, because we had no water. FML. -.-'

Wow, that’s sounds kinda sounds like a snowball of bad luck and karma got pushed off a hill to make a boulder after our planet had already decided to make to make it snow on 2020 to begin with.
