Some backstory (Patreon)

Oliver has always been very inconspicuous lmao

The approximate age of them here:

Oliver: 19

Bella: 17

Henry: 22

So when Oliver visited the tattoo parlor for the first time, asking for some kind of job, with literally no artistic talent, Henry and Bella were pretty skeptical. Well, Bella didn‘t really have anything to say in that matter. She wasn‘t really working for Henry yet, just hanging around with him and hoping he‘d teach her how to do tattoos at some point. He knew she had talent he just wanted her to focus on school as long as she hadn‘t graduated yet, speaking from experience.

Oliver explained why he approached them in particular, even though he knew he could never even tattoo a single thing, but he proposed to clean the studio and work at the counter and all that stuff. To be honest, Oliver had no idea what people in a tattoo studio exactly had to do except drawing on other people. Henry didn‘t really know what to do with him. He hadn‘t had the studio for too long and had no financial capacity to just pay a guy for cleaning (what he could do by himself as well).

Oliver seemed like a genuine good guy though and Henry told him he‘d think about it. They exchanged phone numbers and met again. Henry proposed a deal, it wouldn‘t work if Oliver was just there to clean or to greet customers with a friendly smile, so Henry explained that he could teach him to do piercings, if Oliver would be interested in it. So some kind of apprenticeship, though Oliver had to get at least another side job, because he would have to pay for it, since it‘s nothing officially recognized. Henry promised he would 100% give Oliver a job after the training so it was on him to decide if he wanted to accept it or not.

Oliver never really had a dream job in mind. There weren‘t many things he was particularly good at, but he liked to be around and talk to cool people.

I think I don‘t need to tell you if he accepted or not 😌
