It tastes bitter! Willy don't like it
This page needs a careful rewrite. I think it does a bad job of conveying what Willy is saying in response to the priest. That second panel needs some sword of Damocles imagery.
What Willy is trying to say is that he rejects the conclusion that's offered by the church in the face of injustice – which is inaction and a trust in God to restore justice at some later time. Willy understands that this attitude doesn't lead to a solution, only resentment that the church sublimates into pious righteousness.
This conversation is meant to be a conclusion of the thought he encountered with the priest on page 26-27, only he now has a response to it: thoughtless and reactive vengeance ARE damaging to him, and risk a cycle of violence, as the church warns; but he still disagrees with the church's conclusion that passivity is the correct response
Whew, some of these ideas are heavy, and I gotta work hard to convey them in an interesting way that fits into Willy's character arc!
