An awkward ride back, but now Cody's being the proactive one

Back when I was first thinking about this story, I wanted to write about a short guy whose height made the world a bad fit for him, as a parallel to homosexuality in this time period, because I am addicted to allegory. I had a bunch of resonate themes in this story as well, like food, or oral fixation: Willy and Cody sharing meals, Catholic communion, medication, sucking dick even

I've thought about this story long enough that it's developed a lot of layers I didn't plan. I'm hoping to talk more about them at the end of the story!
