Considering the first time we saw her was her being hauled into the shower, giggling and possibly tipsy, over Aaron's shoulder, this insight into her thought process -- and, for that matter, what she cares about -- is very interesting. I think it would be fair to say at the beginning that she *was* being territorial: not knowing Jesse, it was possible that Jesse might have been out to sink Aaron and his chances at whatever football scholarship he has and whatever career he might have. But now that she's watched him, and seen how they interact... it's interesting. I like this more introspective Cassie. More please? (also, THIS TOTALLY DOESN'T CLOSE THE DOOR ON POLY, FUCK YEAH)

This is very interesting, both the continuing development of Cassie as a character and her relationships with the others, and also the reaction of others to her. I can definitely see that she's considering a lot of angles here, but I have to admit that my own opinion of her took a massive nose dive when she went off with, "I guess you respect him more than I thought." Like, excuse me WHAT? Jesse's been nothing but a sweetheart, and definitely respected Aaron's choices even when it was really painful to do so, as well as enduring her cornering him in the hallway. Assuming that she really is just being concerned about him and his future, she still really needs an attitude adjustment. Kudos to Jesse for keeping his cool through all this. I hope everyone comes out of it better in the end.
