Hawaii - The Big Island (Patreon)

It feels like I flew half way around the world for only a few days in paradise. I thought it would be too hard, the time in the air, the time difference, but it’s been amazing. Here are some images from the first few hours after waking up. And from the first 24 hours. I’m in love. The air is pure ecstasy. Existing in this environment feels like mother earth is giving you a hug at all times. The leaves are my favorite thing in the world. The beautiful flowers, vegetation. Fruit. Beaches. People. I may move here. I am so in love with this landscape. It never seemed possible or realistic to live here until now. The big island is beautiful. The lava and volcanos a reminder of our fleeting time here on earth and the impermanence and changeable nature of reality. I’m in love. I love this landscape. I wonder if I would miss the mainland. I wonder if I would feel too far removed. But the more removed I feel from society anyway and the more the air and earth feel like my friends, the more beautiful and tangible this reality seems. Who knows what the future holds. The only thing I do know, is I love it here. My body loves this place in space. The sun, the sea. Pure ecstasy.
