Journal Making - some intimate playful work (Patreon)

In journal making class this week, which is basically my church for the year. It is so incredible to get to create with so many powerful women, pray to the earth and ether, and learn from my teacher @joymseidler who is basically a shaman to me in the truest sense of the word ✨🪶 today, the first day of the annual four day class, we make paste paper, which we then use to make book covers, signatures (the interior parts of the journal), before sewing the Coptic binding on the final days. This year I focused on utilizing my photographic art images as the base for my paper. It was so fun to play with color again for the first time in a long time. Every year it is always so grounding and healing to be a part of this experience. I wish everyone in the world could participate, but I hope to share the wisdom and transmute some teachings through my own work.
