Lloyd hosted a live stream available to all patrons yesterday. You can watch the full replay by going to this link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/patreon-live-74993782

But I'm aware some of you prefer to just get a recap of what was said. So here's a brief run down of the main things that were spoken about. (I do recommend you check out the full video to get a more complete insight)

Lloyd was joined on the stream by special guest Croix Provence aka Lara Croft. Lloyd began by asking Croix to explain how she got involved in being in the ERB.

She said she had found an advertisement on a website called Actors Access. The advert was a request for a female rapper and she was instantly interested. So, she submitted a demo and figured she probably wouldn't hear back. She was excited when she found out it was for ERB and quite surprised when she got the role.

She first heard Eminem in the fifth grade of school and from that point she was introduced to more rap music. She learnt all the words to Bad Touch by The Bloodhound Gang which didn't impress her mom very much. Her family weren't sure a music and acting career was gonna be the wisest move for her but over the years have come to respect her decision.

A patron called SamWise asked for advice from Croix, as he's considering moving to Los Angeles to pursue a acting career. She said it would be a grind and a hustle, but you just need to learn to commit to doing things you need to be doing and also the things you love to do. For voiceover work she recommended taking a class by an actor called Richard Horvitz who she found more valuable than four years of college.

A patron called MBL asked if Croix came back to ERB for another role is there anyone in particular she would like to portray? Croix stated she would like to be Linda Belcher (from Bob's Burger) or Lois Griffin (from Family Guy) or Hit-Girl (from Kick-Ass). She also saw Amber Heard and Princess Leia crop up in YouTube comments and she'd love those roles. Lloyd suggested Mary Poppins might be a great option.

Lloyd moved on to say how Croix had been clutch in tweaking a few things with the flow and rhymes of her lyrics, which really helped to solidify some of the jokes. A patron called Lemon asked how much did Croix know about Lara Croft going into the battle. She explained she knew very little about the character but has always been a keen player of video games. She even has a Final Fantasy tattoo on her ribs.

A patron called MBL asked if Croix had a French background? She said she was born in Florida but has French / Irish heritage. In French Croix means Cross.

A patron called Octacle came on camera and asked Croix what she knew about Tomb Raider. She said when she saw the lyrics it was clear she didn't know much about the game franchise. So she had to research the game and the character. She felt she learned a lot in a short period of time.

Croix went on to explain that for her day job she is a Director of Programming for numerous comic cons around the USA. She's been doing the role for a decade. She first got the role by applying for a Craigslist ad for a role as a Cosplay model. She got the role and ended up dressed up as Silk Spectre (from Watchmen). From that first event she quickly ended up working on comic cons in various job roles.

At that point Croix departed the stream. Leaving Lloyd solo for the rest of the steam. He stated we would like to get more guests to join future live streams. So let us know if there is anyone in particular you'd like us to ask to appear.

Next a patron called Dragonsblood asked whether Lloyd expected Kong vs Godzilla to be released before Christmas or not? Lloyd said he does not know when that battle will come out. He said the technology we are using for it (Unreal Engine 5 and Motion Capture) has made it complicated. It hasn't helped that Indiana vs Lara ended up being a very difficult and long process in itself.

A patron called Matthew Aylesbury asked if Lloyd were to play Kratos, what version would he be? Lloyd said he thinks it would be the more classic look from God Of War 2 rather the more modern version. But if they decided to do Kratos he'd have to try to play the newer games.

A patron called Octacle then suggested if we ever do Van Gogh vs Warhol we should consider Neil Cicierega / Lemon Demon for the role of Andy Warhol. Lloyd said he would check him out.

Lloyd then informed patrons that he would be performing at a Comic Con called Con+Alt+Deletein Chicago in mid-December. You can find full details over at: https://conaltdelete.com/

He ended by saying that right now researching and writing lyrics for Karl Marx vs Henry Ford is his main personal focus in the coming weeks. He then thanked everyone for attending the stream and concluded the chat.

Thank you to everyone who attended.

Added comments from HeadMonk re: Godzilla vs Kong...

I appreciate there will be disappointment from patrons at being informed "Godzilla vs Kong" won't be ready for release in 2022. We all wish that wasn't the case. But we are not prepared to rush out a crappy video. Even if we wanted to, the notion of "rushing" in Unreal Engine and Motion Capture isn't an option. These are new hardware / software tools that the crew are still getting to grips with. We want to get it right.

I've pushed all year for us to be able to get at least two battles released in 2022. I'm disappointed we aren't gonna manage that. But, at the same time happy that we have the Godzilla vs Kong battle fully written and that Lara vs Indiana was a great video imho. I think the battle of the Kaiju's is one of the best ERB have ever written. But, it took months and months to get to that point. I think it was worth that time and effort, and it deserves a kick ass video to match.

I had a long phone call this week with Peter about 2023 and it was very positive. We discussed multiple battles and also ways we can improve in the future. Thank you all for your continued support here on Patreon and I hope those of you in the USA have a great Thanksgiving this week. Talk soon. - HM
