This is the final 3 emojis design I created this time around! Super fun exercise overall, think I really needed this just as an artist. Making fanart is fun and I’ll definitely still do it, but making original content or just more drawing whatever I want is becoming more of a priority so I hope you all are down for that pff 

Anyway! I’ll try to sum up the ideas I have for Jersey here. The general idea is urban fantasy meets urban legends, a dense city is now filled with humans who posses the abilities of urban legend creatures. Jersey is one of many, being a street artist coming up in the world. It actually isn’t shown here, but he has rollerblades on too.

This idea will probably have the most tweaking after the fact, because I do find the concept a lot of fun but I’m not 100% sure of all the details. Like what the relationship is between the creatures and their human users, or if there are creatures just walking among the city goers, maybe they all hide in jobs nobody would look too closely at. Office worker, bartender, etc Jersey himself I’ll have to decide what his goals are, and what his name is, if he just adopted the “jersey devil“ name if if that’s more of a tag name and he has a birth name too. I might even tweak Jersey’s design a little, to mimic the Jersey Devil myth a bit more, like a more goat like skull design, having maybe a wing pattern on his back, etc 

I really love how this art turned out, especially the background, and the concept itself is so fun I’d have to come back to it. It combines two things I love, y2k aesthetics with horror stories, like folktales/urban legends. I could see this being real fun so hopefully an update in this idea sometime 🙏🏾
