"Tisse-contes (or tale weavers) are the keepers of history of each clan. 

Often travelling in pairs (one weaver and their apprentice), they record the exploits and shames of their brothers in arms; ensuring that each of the fallen enter posterity, never to be forgotten to the dark.  

More than a simple profession, they offer comfort to fellow scavengers; being easily the most valuable member of an expedition due to their ability to lift spirits with a song.  

Losing a Tisse-contes is seen as bad omen and as such, they are often the last to fall should disaster strike; protected to the last breath by their comrades."
