Shenhe (Patreon)

Happy Lunar New Year for those of you who celebrate them! As for Genshin players who are still active in Teyvat, Happy Lantern Rite! and Woah! I just realized that it's almost been a whole year since I last drew Shenhe.   

I'm slowly getting more and more used to making youtube videos, so I'll be doing a lot more speed-paint videos throughout the year. Since the stars aligned this time, and I managed to finish the vid in time for the Lantern Rite, I thought I'd post it along with the illustration this time.  

Just like Shenhe's sexy new outfit I drew on her, I'm going to be making many changes this year as well. YouTube will be one of them, and this might come as a bit of a spoiler for some, but I am thinking of focusing some of my time on my OC, Sister Reine every month. She might have a different outfit soon. 

To this day, I think Shenhe is one of the top five Genshin characters I like to draw. Now, if only the devs gave her a DPS spec for Shenhe to use her raw monstrous strength and made her a brawler, I would love that xD 

While I do enjoy her as a strong Cryo support, I have to admit I was a little bit disappointed when they kept giving us all this delicious lore about Shenhe and her ridiculous superhuman strength only to make her a support character. 

If there was a fighting game with Genshin Characters as cast, I hope we'll see her as an unarmed brawler.
