Fortunately or unfortunately, I've never gotten into the shipgirls hype when Kancolle was dominating this particular market. I would say the only thing I can associate with is probably the animated series which was a mixed bag of reviews according to some of the more invested fans.

Though I heard Azur Lane was many times better than Kancolle ever was so I should really give the anime a watch when I have more time to enjoy them. With this commission, I was given complete freedom to do whatever I wanted so I decided to draw Graf Zeppelin looking at a mirror while being on the phone with Commander/Admiral (I still have no idea which title they use in the game. Seemed like some characters called you Master instead).
