Atalanta's Happy Valentine~! [FGO] (Patreon)

Happy Valentines Day! 

Also Happy S.A.D if you celebrate it since it's on the same day as Valentines Day and I'm aware some people are celebrating it worldwide! Not that it's a bad thing of course since it just depends on your circumstances... Moving on!! 

I realized this before as well but I spent almost 4 or 5 hours looking at doujinshi whilst trying to study which fonts doujinshi artists use when their content is to be localized for the English audience. Something random and probably of no importance to everyone that I found out through my investigation was... a lot of doujins that do get translated don't actually get the sound effects translated. 

Not that I blame them since it's a mind numbing task to to try and come up with a English equivalent of a onomatopoeia that makes sense in Japanese but hard to find a equivalent in English. Half the time there is no equivalent or anything that comes close to the original source. I think among every 10 doujins I've read only 3 had sound effects fully translated and out of those three I'd be lucky if it contained the sound effects I was after. 

Needless to say, I spent much longer time than I'd anticipated on spending it on just the sound effects alone. 

When I got started on drawing Atalanta, I tried to search for other artists who may have drawn her to get a better grasp of how other people drew her and it seems like you guys were right in saying that Atalanta really doesn't have much artwork of her despite her appearances on FGO and Fate/Apocrypha. 

Here we have the Hunter of Chastity who falls prey to Master-san affected by the Valentine's Day buff. 

Artemis won't be happy about this. I'm sure if it really happened in the game, Chaldea will be flooded with a rain of Calydonian Boars from the skies. At least, I think that's how I'd design the visual novel if I was really making this scene as an ingame H-scene.
