Hotspring Date with Sinon [Sword Art Online] (Patreon)

I want to start this by saying thank you to everyone who has been very patient with me this month. I was initially at a loss due to how I suddenly had to find another Animator to work with and when I couldn't find someone, I was almost on the verge of giving up on having animation work tied into the Monthly Waifu releases [Which originally was just an illustration at first]. 

I managed to get in contact with a very talented animator as I went through the list and eventually I found Konogasm who has agreed to work with me on this month's Waifu animation. It'll be my first time working with her but I'm already finding that I enjoy working with her so far. If possible I'd like it if this wasn't a one-off project...we'll see. 

She's a very busy person so I didn't press her for too much work to be done on this one, as a result... I think it's a little shorter than what I've envisioned. It's in an amazing quality though and I'm super happy about it. I can't wait to add sound to it. 

Originally I planned on drawing the Sinon everyone is familiar with, the one from Gun Gale Online but noticed there really isn't a lot of artwork of her as a Cait Sith (Kitty Eared Race, totally not Miqo'te) so I decided to have her drawn as a Cait Sith instead. 

Sinon might acknowledge Kazuto x Asuna relationship in real life, but there's nothing to say Kirito ingame isn't free for all and ripe for taking~

That was the concept I was running with when I got started on the project. 

I've made my decisions to try and learn Live2D starting next month. I won't deny that it will definitely end up becoming a huge time investment but at the end of the day I feel this is the right path to take in developing further as an artist and content creator on Patreon ^^;; 

Who knows?? maybe next month's Waifu will be animated by none other than me? hahaha...maybe.
