At the time, Robert Townsend was really big, He still works but I wonder why he became almost obscure. He was good in The Mighty Quinn 1989 which was the first Denzel Washington movie I saw. But for some reason, I can't find it on his IMDB page and he was a co-lead in that movie, better known than Denzil at the time.
